Programming web applications

Web applications are computer programs composed of client and server code, where the client code runs inside a user's internet browser. It might sound familiar because thats exactly how CMS systems work, but a CMS is just one example of a web application. They can generally take on a much wider scope of use.

A web application can be very simple, from a simple contact form or survey, to entire cloud based Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. The Cloud is an umbrella term for web servers that can be accessed from any computer that has Internet access

Every service and webshop you can subscribe to over the Internet is a web application. Netflix, Ebay, Gmail, Google Drive, Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and more. You may not need something so comprehensive, nor is it always worth to make something so comprehensive from scratch with the availability of existing solutions, but in some cases the available tools do not offer everything you need, or they offers too much and is becomes expensive only for one part of the service you will use.

Some common applications are CRM systems (Customer Relationship Management), which are used to manage customers and clients, especially if you offer some kind of subscription and should automate billing, reminders, or follow-up contacts from hundreds and thousands of people.

Such systems are tailored to your needs and must be planned in detail, especially if it is a complex solution, which is usually planned in the long term. The production time can be anywhere between a few weeks to more than a year, depending on what is being done.

Please let us know if you have a need for some small tool to help you administer, calculate or work, or for a larger system to track your business and statistics. We are always ready to do something new and something that will really be of use to you.
